It was well attended and successful day with bowlers from Newcastle, Asquith and the NSWRLRA participating. Newcastle was far too strong for the NSWRLRA and Asquith bowlers.
The winning rink was Rink 8, where the Fours Team of Richard Hindes, Jimmy Lilly, Steve Scaines and Ken Doolan from Newcastle won by a margin of seven.
The appreciation of all bowlers is extended to Brian Barry, Brien Gately and Ian McCall who organised the day.
Extended appreciation to the Leichhardt Bowling Club kitchen staff for the luncheon and to The Club staff for their hospitality.
